This is part of the Vermont Paddle Celebration, which includes two nights of the Reel Paddling Film Fest (whitewater on Friday, flatwater on Saturday), club day discounts at Canoe Imports on both Friday and Saturday (NFCT and other outdoor organizations will be displaying on Saturday - you can become a member on the spot and take advantage of the discounts), and the New Haven whitewater festival on Saturday the 26th. Pick and choose or do it all. However you slice it, it is a great weekend for Vermont paddling! |

| SAVE THE DATE: NFCT will be celebrating our 10th anniversary with a weekend full of fun. The Rangeley Logging Museum is celebrating its 30th this year and has generously offered to share with us its logging festival weekend, so you are in for an excellent hybrid event that will acknowledge both the recreational and heritage aspects of our water trail and our region. A preliminary lineup of events includes on Saturday: 10 am parade through downtown Rangeley; afternoon displays and a traditional beanhole meal at the Rangeley Logging Museum and a variety of paddling workshops and excursions on Rangeley Lake and Haley Pond; an evening barbecue and recognition event at Saddleback Maine's base lodge. And on Sunday, a suite of paddling adventures in the area will be available for the choosing. Stay tuned for more details, and please let us know if you are planning to attend.
